After not updating the site’s position rankings since November, it seemed far past due. There was some advantage to waiting until now to do them. There wasn’t an overreaction to bowl or all star performances. It also gave me more time to watch more games, which is critical for a site like this one.
2012 NFL Draft position rankings updated
As most of you probably know by now, I wrote the position rankings/player evaluations for the USA Today NFL Draft magazine. I wanted the site rankings to mirror what I did for them. So click through to each position below. Fire any criticisms at me. Some of the positions —running back, defensive tackle, wide receiver— will expand, but I wanted to push this out now.
The overall top 100 will be adjusted tomorrow.
