Is This The Worst Ryan Braun Column Ever?

Now accepting submissions for the worst post-leak, pre-appeal decision Braun commentary on the web. Our first nominee:

Off to a terrible start.

Three out of four misspelled names. You’re doing great.

I know what you’re thinking: It’s not like he wants Major League Baseball to take away his MVP award (which was given to him by the Baseball Writers Association of America).

I would like to see Major League Baseball take away the MVP award that he won for the last baseball season...

Nevermind. But at least he doesn’t immediately jump to any conclusions about Braun’s guilt.

How can the baseball lords allow this breach of faith to be rewarded?

Great question.

Even if Braun is suspended for 50 games at the start of the 2012 season, as appears likely, that punishment is not enough.

I don’t throw around the term “brave” very often, but if there’s anything braver than agreeing with everyone in your profession about the need for harsher punishments for steroid use, I haven’t heard it.

I’m not looking for blood.

Not that I would complain if it came to that.

I want justice.

Or, failing that, blood. I’m good either way.
