Just what is SAFER Barrier anyway?
Given the hard lick that Danica Patrick took today during the first Gatorade Duel race I thought you might want to know a little bit more about what SAFER Barrier is and what it does. We at NASCAR RnR are firm advocates of having SAFER Barrier installed on every wall surface of every track in the NASCAR circuit. Just imagine how bad Danica's wreck could have been if there had been no SAFER Barrier there to absorb some of that impact when she hit the inside wall on the backstretch.
