Scouts, analysts and fans will debate the varying importance of certain aspects of the NFL Scouting Combine, but the event that started as a medical event is still health-based at its core. The 40-yard dash is fun to watch, and positional drills are certainly important, but in the end how these players perform on the field will trump it all.

Thus, how a player weighs in and check out medically, in addition to his interviews with teams, are the most important part of this process. After the jump, check out the weigh-in results for all of the quarterbacks in attendance at the NFL Scouting Combine with some notes.

  • Brock Osweiler measured in at just under 6-feet-7 inches tall, which was a little shorter than expected, but that's not a bad thing. As Rob Rang points out, measuring in a bit shorter may ease concerns about Osweiler's mobility.
  • Ryan Tannehill's nine inch hands were the smallest of anyone in attendance (tied with Yale's Patrick Witt). While they aren't dangerously short, Tannehill's hands are a bit small, which it worth noting.
  • Robert Griffin III measured in at just over 6-feet-2-inches tall and 223 pounds, easing concerns about his size.
  • Nick Foles has the ideal body type for an NFL quarterback and has above average hand size as well.
