The Avs continue to roll in a 4-1 win.

In the last four games, the Avalanche have outscored their opponents 17-5; they scored 18 goals in the 10 games prior to the winning streak. Tuesday, Colorado scored three unanswered goals in the third period as Ryan O'Reilly (who broke a tie just 37 seconds into the period for the game-winning goal), Matt Duchene (who scored his first goal since Dec. 23) and Jay McClement scored to lift the Avalanche to victory. On a personal level, Steve Downie has two goals and five assists during a three-game point streak since being acquired from the Tampa Bay Lightning last week.
Semyon Varlamov made 27 saves to best the Ducks, coached by his former coach in Washington, Bruce Boudreau.
