After less than 12 hours, the New York Giants' 21-17 Super Bowl XLVI win over the New England Patriots is already old news. We know what happened. The Giants had better athletes, the Patriots need a tall wide receiver who can get deep and high point the ball. You gorged on unhealthy foods. This is all in the past.
With Super Bowl over, it’s officially NFL Draft season
The present and future for the next 80 days is the 2012 NFL Draft. It’s in season and will be more glorious than pumping an unsuspecting creature full of lead. Prepare yourself for conjecture. For Mel Kiper’s Vader helmet of hair. For Todd McShay’s oft-orange hue. For Mike Mayock’s brilliance, as long as you don’t have Time Warner cable. Everyone will be right. Everyone will be wrong.
Here at MockingTheDraft we’ll be bringing it strong through April. We’ve added a couple of excellent new writers to the staff to compliment our wonderful incumbents. There are already plans to attend the NFL Scouting Combine later this month and the NFL Draft in April. Interviews with some great players are being arranged. Rankings, mocks and a bunch of analysis will be slapping you in the face like the reaction to your usual pickup lines.
It’s all happening and it will be glorious. It’s NFL Draft season. Prepare thyself.
