Open Race Thread: NASCAR Nationwide Sam’s Town 300 - Las Vegas Motor Speedway

I honestly hope that I see more Nationwide-only drivers in the Top 10 and if Phoenix is any indication we just might. But then again Phoenix isn’t a cookie cutter D-shaped oval either, you know, the kind that the Sprint Cup drivers excel at.

As Troy said earlier in the week there are only 43 cars entered into the race so everyone will start, too bad not everyone will finish and I’m not talking about cars wrecking either. I imagine we will have some start and park entries for sure, especially if they’re guaranteed to make the race - will they even do a complete a qualifying lap at speed? We will see later today.

My pick to win? Anyone who is a Cup driver because they are driving for the deep-pocketed teams, but I think Austin Dillon might show everyone that he isn’t just a flash in the pan either. Oh and if no one wrecks Danica she should get a top-10 finish (you heard it here first).
