The Chicago Blackhawks may have been playing the St. Louis Blues, but it was their game that ended on a high note Wednesday.
Blues Vs. Blackhawks: ‘Hawks Snap Blues’ Winning Streak In 4-3 Shootout Win

The Blackhawks rallied to defeat theBlues Wednesday in a 4-3 shootout win.
Patrick Kane scored the lone shootout goal as Chicago erased a 3-1 deficit over two periods before ultimately taking the game in extra time. The Blues have not won at United Center since February 2010, though it seemed like they would snap that streak after scoring three unanswered goals in the first period thanks to Jamie Langenbrunner, Andy McDonald and Patrik Berglund. Instead, St. Louis' five-game winning streak was snapped when Viktor Stalberg and Brent Seabrook tied the game.
The Blackhawks still trail the Blues by 14 points in the Central Division, but closed within five points of the Nashville Predators and seven of the Detroit Red Wings.
