Peyton Manning Is Throwing ‘Much, Much Better’

We have a Peyton Manning update. Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star reports that the Colts QB is in Florida working out and he is throwing "much, much better" at the moment. Manning has been rehabbing since his most recent neck surgery.

We’re still not totally sure where Manning stands but a lot of signs point to him playing in the 2012 season. The Colts will have to make a decision on him before March 8, the date his $28 million roster bonus hits. The likely result is that he’ll be released.

So there are really two questions here. One, will Manning be healthy enough to play in 2012? That answer looks more and more like yes, especially after this report. And two, which team will Manning play for? The team in South Florida, the Dolphins, are one of the early leaders, along with the Redskins. But it's all just guesswork at this point.

The Manning decision from the Colts should be coming soon and then we will see the pursuit of perhaps the most sought- after-player in the history of free agency.
