ABC News reports on a new nylon microfiber glove that’s not only much lighter than traditional leather mitts, but also stronger, and less prone to tearing.

↵Someday the bats will be made of a composite material, and then the only thing on the field that’s not artificial will be the players. But eventually they, too, will be replaced by robots. And all of the fans and concessionaires will be robots as well. But we’ll always need people, if only to build and maintain those robots.
