Remember: Texas Cares More About High School Football Than You Care About Anything
↵This enormous facility isn’t a college football stadium. It’s the future home of Dallas’ Allen High Eagles, costing a scant $60 million and eventually seating 18,000. While it’s not Texas’ (and therefore Earth’s) biggest high school football stadium, it’s the biggest that will be home to just one team.
↵If Allen is able to sell out every game (and, boy, they’d better hope they do), the Eagles will draw better attendance than 19 FBS college football teams did last year, along with all but 10 non-FBS teams. They’d also usually top about half of the NHL, at least half of the NBA, one or two MLB teams and some NFL preseason games.
