Speedster Deonte Thompson, WR, Exclusive Interview

Deonte Thompson has always been knowing for his blazing speed at the University of Florida. He was an US Army All American coming out of High School in 2006, and was ready to make a major decision on where to go to college. It wasn't a hard decision for him as he chose Florida, and was ready to rep the Gators in Gainesville. Deonte is a burner who ran track with former Gators Wondy Pierre-Louis and Louis Murphy. Deonte has always been known for his good speed and quickness and his ability to get separation. In Thompson career, he caught 101 receptions for 1446 yards and 9 touchdowns. Deonte played in the Battle of Florida All Star game where I was able to see him first hand. Deonte had so much speed out of his stance, that he could quickly get separation. I think with the right team Deonte could be a stud at the next level.Deonte ran a 4.27 hand timed forty yard dash at his pro day for the Florida Gators earlier this year, he could be the fastest Gator including Chris Rainey. Look for this burner to get his chance at the next level.
