The SB Nation two-round NFL mock draft continues along with each lead NFL team blogger making the pick for their team. Up now is the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 13 overall pick.

With the 13th pick in the 2012 SB Nation NFL Writers Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin.

The gang from Revenge of the Birds breaks down the choice and I respond after the jump. For more on the Cardinals, make sure to check out RevengeOfTheBirds.com.

Revenge of the Birds explains: The offensive line is clearly the Cardinals’ greatest need. With both David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin on the board, the decision is tough. DeCastro could be an elite guard. Martin has great film, but has one glaring weakness -- his weakness (lack of strength). In the end, Martin is the guy to go with because the Cardinals seek a tackle, especially someone who could play left tackle. Martin’s technique is great, his athleticism is without question and if strength is the only thing lacking, he can acquire that with John Lott, one of the best in the business at strength and conditioning.

Dan Kadar responds: There are two places the Cardinals should look early in the draft -- pass rush and offensive line. Apparently someone in Arizona likes Levi Brown after the team re-signed him this offseason. So that may lead you to believe the team would consider a player like South Carolina's Melvin Ingram here. But if the Cardinals' front office is smart, they'd run their card to the podium if Martin is available. While he may not project as being an elite left tackle, he should certainly be better than Brown.
