So the big talk in the NFL right now is between these two players. Peyton Manning has just been released and is a free agent; while the Rams will be able to trade that second overall pick, which holds the key to Robert Griffin III's NFL future, from next week. So I want you to imagine you are a quarterback needy team, and you have to pick between one of these two. Here's the scenario:
Would You Rather: Peyton Manning or Robert Griffin III?
Option One
You sign a 100% healthy Peyton Manning performing at his best, but you have to bring in Pierre Garcon, Reggie Wayne and Jeff Saturday. You must run Peyton's offense, rather than attempt to force him into a different system. Finally, you only get him for three years before he retires.
OR
Option Two
You draft Robert Griffin III but have to trade your 2012 first, second and third round picks along with your 2013 first and second round picks to the St. Louis Rams to do so.
I have a feeling I know which option will win and judging by some polls I’ve done recently, it will probably be a landslide. But I’m interested in your opinion and see if it’s closer than I think it’s going to be.
