NFL Mocks - Question and Answer with Dan Kadar of Mocking the Draft
When we get around to it, usually every week, Dan Kadar and I have a little question and answer session about all things draft. This week Dan took a few of my questions.

Miami Herald - Dolphins might want to 'overpay' for Ryan Tannehill
They refused to overpay for Kyle Orton. They refused to overpay for Carson Palmer. They could have signed Matt Flynn but didn’t want to overpay. Same with Alex Smith. And they looked into trading for Robert Griffin III but decided the price was too steep and, you guessed it, they didn’t want to overpay.

NFL.com - What will the Vikings do with the third overall pick?
The Minnesota Vikings are on the clock. Yes, I know neither the Indianapolis Colts nor the Washington Redskins have officially submitted their selection, with the Colts claiming they still haven't made a decision on the first overall pick. (I'm not buying it.) Regardless, we all know the first two players coming off the board -- it's either Andrew Luck first, then Robert Griffin III at No. 2, or vice versa. Thus, the 2012 NFL Draft really begins with the Vikes' third overall pick.

Pacific Takes - Andrew Luck analysis: Stanford vs. Oregon Part I
If you watched Andrew Luck a lot last season, he had to do a lot with very little. For most of the season he was without his deep vertical threat Chris Owusu, which caused him all sorts of problems. Luck had to anchor the offense with tight ends, which are a good complement to a vertical passing attack but not terribly sustainable.

Washington Post - Former Virginia Tech RB David Wilson talks about NFL Draft process
Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring was in the middle of discussing his unit’s struggles during Saturday’s open scrimmage when he was cut off by the sound of screeching tires behind him.

CBS Sports - Several prospects hoping for good news at medical recheck in Indy
Some of the big names in the 2012 NFL Draft returning to Indianapolis this week for a medical recheck include Alabama running back Trent Richardson, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne and Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
