Former Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles eased some concern over his torn ACL today by running times of 4.57 and 4.59 just 5 months after suffering the knee injury, according to Rotoworld.
Ryan Broyles runs well at Oklahoma’s pro day

Broyles caught 349 passes during his career at Oklahoma, more than any other receiver in FBS history. But the aforementioned ACL injury put his draft stock up in the air. Under normal circumstances, the two 40-times he posted wouldn’t raise any eyebrows. Considering the extent of his injury and amount of recovery time, Broyles’ performance speaks volumes about his work ethic and how far the world has come when it comes to treating these injuries.
A fantastic route runner, Broyles was as productive as any receiver in this draft class. He does not possess outstanding physical abilities, but if he maintains his quickness coming off surgery, Broyles represents value in the second or third round.
A month ago, Broyles seemed like an afterthought, but things change quickly in the draft process. This performance only adds another prospect to an already deep pool of wide receivers.
