Joe Adams, Arkansas
Height: 5'10 1/2, Weight: 174 pounds
Strengths: As good of a natural athlete as there is in this year’s wide receiver class. Incredibly elusive. Good hands working through traffic. Could be a star on special teams in the NFL. (See below for his crazy punt return against Tennessee) Compares favorably to Mike Wallace of the Steelers.
Weaknesses: Can easily get jammed at the line of scrimmage. May need to get taught how to run complex routes. Needs to get much stronger. Fumbles have been an issue. Used mostly as an X and a Z receiver, and will likely have to move inside in the NFL.
Combine quotable: (On the Arkansas offense) Yeah, in our offense, it was a lot of concepts and when I was studying the Redskins offense it was lot of concepts, too. Mike Shanahan told me most of the offense are concepts so…
