Mocking the Draft Live Draft Recap

Well another weekend down and another brilliant live draft completed. This mock draft was run by Nolesbronco, TrueBlue, and my good friend, Malor because I was not present for most of it. Some thoughts are listed below

  • I really liked to see how much participation there was during this draft. I believe Noles did not have to use the BPA lists till the 4th round or so and he only had to use them a few times during the entire draft. Great job by all the GMs and backup GMs for being available during their picks.
  • Even though there were a ton of trades, I believe many were realistic and despite one not fitting in the 200 point limit rule, all were very fair trades. While they may have gotten Malor angry, because he was updating the tracker, I liked that they make these drafts different
  • The snafu of this draft definitely has to go to Malor for sending his trade offer to move up to 16 to the Giants instead of the Jets. This stupidity ultimately cost him a chance to land the highly coveted pass rusher, Melvin Ingram
  • The jerks of this draft were the MCM guys who came over and bashed commissioner and Titans GM NolesBronco for making a pick that he wanted to make. If they wanted to be the GM of their team, they could have volunteered to run the draft when that option was given. (they even went as far as making a petition to have him removed as Titans GM, even though that is not going to happen as Noles has proven himself as a reliable, heady GM)
  • Some notable steals in this draft were Matt Kalil at 5, Justin Blackmon at 13, Ryan Tannehill at pick 37, Kelechi Osemele at 62, Bobby Wagner at 74, Jamell Flemming at 93, and Lardarius Green at 107.
  • Some notable reaches in this draft included Michael Brockers at 3, Jonathan Martin at 10, Dontari Poe at 11, Orson Charles at 51, and Juron Criner at 58
  • Here is a link to the Draft Tracker which has all the picks in this draft

In the comments section let me know who you picked and why. List your team, all your picks and where they were selected, any trades, and some strategy behind your draft.
