Kelechi Osemele 2012 NFL Draft quick report

This year I wrote the player rankings and evaluations for the USA Today 2012 NFL Draft magazine. It’s on newsstands now and available online here. Leading up to the draft, I’ll be reprinting some of my quick reports here.

Kelechi Osemele, Iowa State
Height: 6'5 3/8, Weight: 333 pounds

Strengths: Is as physically put together as any lineman in this year’s draft. Possesses a massive frame with an incredible 84-inch wingspan. Great natural strength. Has the tools to be molded into a Pro Bowl player.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t block on the move especially well. Can be heavy footed on the move. May be limited to a power scheme in the NFL. Struggled during his senior year due to an ankle injury.
