Josh Norman 2012 NFL Draft quick report

Strengths: Has great height and length for a cornerback. Knows how to use his length to make a play on the ball and jam at the line. Plays with a lot of quickness and doesn’t get caught by surprise. Starred at the East-West Shrine Game and earned a late Senior Bowl invite.

Weaknesses: Not an especially physical cornerback and will need to fill out his frame more. Average as a tackler and will need to work on the fundamentals of wrapping up and driving through the ball carrier.

Combine quotable (On small school players): That is true. They know everything about everybody and they probe and probe. That’s for sure. But, I don’t see it as a big difference. I’d say we get looked over a good bit, because we are small school, and 1A guys, get the first nod in everything. They’re on the TVs, and shows, and radio stations.
