Trumaine Johnson 2012 NFL Draft quick report

Strengths: Johnson has a safety frame playing cornerback. He’s not so big that his speed is negatively impacted, however. Johnson has quick feet to adjust on a dime and make a play on the ball. Opens his hips with ease to turn and run with the receiver.

Weaknesses: An unknown in regard to press coverage, though his size makes him intriguing in that area. Needs to play with better instincts, especially against shorter routes. Arrested in October while trying to break up a fight.

Combine quotable (On technique): Come from a smaller school, they can say you get lazy, you can get bored, because they’re not going your way, but I believe you can always improve on your technique, and going to the next level you’re going to need that.
