Update 7:25 p.m.: The Browns have now confirmed the pick.
Report: Minnesota Vikings trading pick No. 3 to Cleveland Browns

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Minnesota Vikings are trading the No. 3 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns.
“If they do pick me, I’m happy,” Richardson said on ESPN. “I can’t wait to be there. I can’t explain how I feel. When I get that phone call, you’re going to see a lot of expression coming from my face.”
The Browns are moving up to likely. select Alabama running back Trent Richardson. What they're giving up is yet to be announced or even speculated upon.
Michael Lombard reports the Browns gave up a fourth-, fifth- and seventh-round pick. The Browns came into tonight’s draft with 13 picks, the most in the NFL. According to NFL Network, it is picks Nos. 4, 118, 139 and 211. The Browns had extra picks in the fourth, fifth and seventh rounds in this year’s draft. The trade still leaves the Browns with fiveof the first 100 picks. The Vikings now have 13 picks, Nos. 4, 35, 66, 98, 118, 128, 134, 138, 139, 175, 210, 211 and 223.
Chris Mortensen of ESPN notes that “Cleveland feels a little panicked.” If Richardson is the pick, as expected, he’s a player who gives the Browns an identity on offense. On a team with a below-average quarterback in Colt McCoy, the team needs a legitimate weapon and that’s what Richardson represents.
Richardson would be the first running back the Browns have drafted in the first round since William Green in 2002.
