The Jaguars are likely jumping up to take wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who they have been linked to all season long. Blackmon is arguably the best wide receiver in this draft class, but he is not an elite prospect, so jumping up to No. 5 to take him is a bit reckless.
The bottom line is that Blaine Gabbert needs some help, and Shad Khan is hoping that Blackmon will provide that.
