The St. Louis Rams have selected Michael Brockers with the No. 14 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft after trading out of the No. 6 pick.

It appears the Rams were locked into Brockers all along and did well to move back and still get their guy. St. Louis also acquired the No. 45 overall pick in the draft from the Dallas Cowboys in the trade.
Brockers is a polarizing prospect. He is being drafted largely based on his upside, but many have question his ability to contribute right away. Jeff Fischer loves to build from the inside out and Brockers is an excellent addition to this run defense, but he lacks elite pass rushing ability.
