Travis Benjamin 2012 NFL Draft quick report

Strengths: Benjamin has elite speed, quickness, elusiveness, and agility that he uses to get separation consistently downfield. He is a true downfield threat and shows the ability to track and adjust to ball in air and catch over either shoulder. Can also handle punt and kickoff return duties. He had some amazing returns for touchdowns in his college career. Excellent elusiveness is used well in the open field and to gain yards after the catch. He will blow by a cornerback if he misses the jam and usually results in a big play.
Weaknesses: He will lose concentration at times and drop passes he should catch. Is a bit undersized and needs to add bulk. Has been known to run wrong routes at critical situations resulting in interceptions. He has trouble getting open against physical man to man press cornerbacks on underneath routes.
