2012 NFL Draft: As expected, St. Louis Rams select WR Brian Quick

The Rams narrowly missed Thursday on Michael Floyd and Justin Blackmon. Although Quick isn't in the same caliber, he's a good developmental receiver. He's not as naturally gifted, though, as Stephen Hill of Georgia Tech. Quick is nearly as raw, however. He only played a season of high school football but has good size and solid hands.
The best definition of Quick’s game came against Virginia Tech last season. He had three catches for 110 yards, which shows his big-play ability. But he also had some drops, which troubled him throughout his college career.
Quick scouting notes: Has the size to play outside in the NFL. Good at beating the jam. Flashes decent hands. Maintains good balance running his routes. Just scratching the surface of his ability.
