Peyton Manning may not have taken a snap for them yet, but the Denver Broncos have already added his replacement. The Broncos took Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler with the No. 57 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Before he even takes a snap, Broncos add Peyton Manning’s replacement in Brock Osweiler

Osweiler’s college tape is a little suspect. It’s loaded with some bad passes and a lot of swing throws. Osweiler also struggles in the red zone and comes from a wide open offense. But there were some throws Osweiler made that were as good as any you’d see in college football last season. He has a ton of potential. Now we have to find out if adding a quarterback in the second round upsets Manning.
I can't explain the emotions I am feeling at this moment. I am so blessed to join an organization with such amazing players coaches and fans

Quick scouting notes on Osweiler: Osweiler is as physically gifted as any player in the draft. His arm strength is impressive, his size is evident and he’s more nimble than other towering quarterbacks. Excels on the short passing game and knows how to take zip off his throws.
