The first two nights of the 2012 NFL Draft have delivered some head scratching moments. The third round of the draft featured a handful of quality prospects as well as a few of the aforementioned head scratchers.

After the jump, we’ll take a look at the best and worst picks of the round and list every pick made this round.
The Baltimore Ravens continue to run a clinic on the NFL Draft, picking up a solid complementary back to Ray Rice in Temple's Bernard Pierce. The Jets also nabbed a quality prospect in linebacker Demario Davis of Arkansas State. He is an instinctive linebacker who absolutely crushes ball carriers.
Michigan defensive tackle Mike Martin was another tremendous value in round three, as the Tennessee Titans picked him up. A wrestler in high school, Martin is a competitive lineman with a non-stop motor. Another one of my favorite sleepers, T.Y. Hilton, was added to Andrew Luck's arsenal when the Colts took him off the board at the bottom of the round.
And I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of my favorite quarterbacks in the draft, Nick Foles of Arizona. The Eagle scooped him up towards the bottom of the third, making him the second quarterback taken in round three, behind Russell Wilson, who was drafted by the Seahawks. Speaking of Russell WIlson, check out how excited his lady friend was when Seattle called her boy.
Lucky for the rest of the somewhat questionable selections in this round, the Jacksonville Jaguars trumped them all by selecting a punter in the third round. That's right, folks. California's Bryan Anger was the subject plenty of anger in Jacksonville fans when he was taken off the board by Gene Smith early in round three. I don't think any other pick comes close to the foolishness of that stunt.
And finally, a night after receiving a prank call about being the first round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, Mohamed Sanu got a real call from Cincy two rounds later to be their pick.
