A record 26 players were invited to attend the 2012 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall. While many of them were able to walk up on stage on the first night of the draft, a handful had to wait until tonight for their big moment. The New York Giants rounded out the second round by selecting the final player sitting in the green room, LSU wide receiver Rueben Randle.
2012 NFL Draft Results: New York Giants select Rueben Randle, the last one out of the green room

Randle's productivity was limited at LSU due to poor quarterback play. But he is the next in a long line of physically gifted receivers to come out of Baton Rouge. With the departure of Mario Manningham this offseason, wide receiver was an area that the Giants needed to address. A player with first round upside, Randle could fill Manningham's shoes immediately.
Thankfully, no player in the green room had to wait until the third round to be drafted. They all got to celebrate a special moment without worrying about falling to much.
