Complete 2012 NFL Draft Round 7 Results

We’ve come to the end of the three day grind that is the NFL Draft. Not many starters come out of the final round of the draft, but the shrewd roster hawks out there will be watching for the names that are called this round all preseason. These might not be the biggest names, a lot of the players drafted in the 7th will makes the little things, like special teams, running smoothly.

The seventh round can also be a place where some recognizable names that have fallen out of favor have teams take a flyer on them. Audie Cole was a Senior Bowl participant who many believed could be a 3rd-5th rounder. DE Trevor Guyton was on a few draft evaluators Top 100 lists. Travis Lewis, an OLB from Oklahoma, was at one time considered at late first round draft pick. Another player once considered a first round talent, CB Alfonzo Dennard punched a cop last week and almost went undrafted.
