It’s far too early to think about the 2013 NFL Draft, right? Wrong.

It’s never too early to start gathering information and doing some homework when it comes to the NFL Draft. So, why not put together a way too early 2013 NFL Mock Draft?

The following mock draft includes a projected draft order based on my current power rankings, so feel free to give me hell in the comments. I also did not include explanations just yet. This is a preliminary outline of who I think are some of the best players eligible for next years draft. I have a year’s worth of homework to do, and so much will change between now and then, so it’s not worth going into too much detail on this.

Take this for what it is; a list of names to keep an eye on. Comment away on how stupid the order is or which players I should have included. For the record, I'm aware that Landry Jones is not included. He has a lot to prove before I put him in the first round of my mock.

I’m looking forward to discussing this with you guys, and stay tuned throughout the summer for updates and scouting notes on tons of 2013 prospects. And ultimately, how these guys play in the fall will determine how the actual first round will look. Plenty of these guys will take big time tumbles down the board.
