SI.com - ESPN, NFL Network take different approaches in broadcasting 2012 NFL Draft
The bellowing never stops. It pummels you over the head like a hard rain, and it’s forever accompanied by outdated references (“Mel Kiper, to quote Stan Laurel, ‘Here’s another mess you have gotten me into, Ollie.’ ”) and long-winded intros that last nearly as long as a Presidential campaign. Mostly, there is Chris Berman simply talking and talking and talking.

Sporting News - To 2013 and beyond: projecting NFL Draft's future No. 1 picks

The Observer - Don’t put too much stock into NFL Draft
Don’t get me wrong. I love the NFL Draft just as much as all those nuts at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It’s an exciting time for NFL fans, who may have been more focused on the NHL playoffs or MLB openers, to get thinking about their teams again. Fans start forecasting which players can fill holes on the depth chart, and with every team’s record at 0-0, a playoff appearance seems plausible to even the most disadvantaged followers (looking at you guys in Cleveland).
