NBA Playoffs 2012, Hawks Vs. Celtics Game 6: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Celtics failed to get a final shot off in Game 5 and will now look to close out their series against the Hawks at home in Game 6.

After a close loss in Game 5, the Boston Celtics will try to close out their series with the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Atlanta survived Game 5 by the score of 87-86 after Boston failed to get a shot off on their final possession. Boston leads the best of seven series 3-2.

Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett have led the way for the Celtics. Pierce leads the team in scoring at 21.8 points per game, while Rondo has upped his per-game scoring average from 11.9 points per game during the regular season to 17.5 in the playoffs. Garnett has three double-doubles in the series and is nearly averaging one overall with 16.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

The Hawks got a big boost in Game 5 from Al Horford. Horford, who missed the first three games of the series due to injury, made his first start of the postseason and finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Joe Johnson leads the Hawks in scoring, averaging 17.2 points per game.

Thursday’s Game 6 will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT.
