NBA Playoffs 2012, Celtics Vs. 76ers Game 1: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Round two of the 2012 NBA Playoffs gets underway tonight in Boston, as the experienced Celtics tip off against the upstart 76ers.

The second round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs will begin Saturday afternoon in Boston, as the Celtics host the upset-minded Philadelphia 76ers in Eastern Conference action.

Boston, which finished off the Atlanta Hawks in six games Thursday night, looks to continue its solid play to advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the third time in five seasons. Despite all that talk about being old and over the hill, the Celtics have displayed a newfound sense of energy late this season, and have gotten key contributions off the bench to help support their veteran stars.

Philadelphia, which knocked off the top-seeded, Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls in dramatic fashion Thursday, should enter this series confident based on its head-to-head regular season matchups against Doc Rivers' club. The Sixers won two of three games against Boston, including a 32-point drubbing in March.

It should be an interesting series, one that pits experience against budding confidence.

Game 1 will tip off at 8 p.m. EDT and be televised on TNT.
