Now that the 2012 NFL Draft is over, we're profiling each team's draft. Who were the steals? Who were the reaches? We continue with the Dallas Cowboys.

Morris Claiborne was considered a lock for the top five picks heading into the 2012 NFL Draft. Instead, Claiborne was still on the board at No. 6 overall, and the Dallas Cowboys wasted no time trading up to add an impact player to a pass defense that desperately needed just that.

The rest of the draft was less exciting, and one major need was left unaddressed: the offensive line. The Cowboys managed to add some talent to their roster in the middle rounds, but how long can they go without protecting Romo?

Questionable pick: LB Kyle Wilber, Round 4, pick 113

The Cowboys are pretty much set at linebacker at the moment, but they spent multiple selections during this draft on the position. It seems finding some help for the offensive line would have been a wiser move. This isn’t an indictment on Wilber as a prospect. He is actually a solid bet to become an NFL starter. But there may have been bigger needs to address.

Late-Round Steal: TE James Hanna Round 6, pick 186

James Hanna is a typical Jerry Jones pick. He is insanely athletic with worlds of potential. Tight end was a big need for the Boys in the wake of Martellus Bennett’s departure, so Hanna was a nice developmental pick in the late rounds.

2012 mock draft pick: Josh D - Kawann Short, DT, Purdue | Matthew Fairburn - Ricky Wagner, OT, Wisconsin

He’s a bit of a liability in the run game, but his potential in the pass game was enough for Buffalo Rumblings.
