↵↵I remember being at a Royals game in 1977 when George Brett was in a slump, and the crowd was sort of on him; he was still a young player then. Anyway, there were runners on first and second, and he grounded into a double play, and the woman behind me said, “Well, at least he didn’t strike out.”
