Last week, Eutechnyx and Activision announced the sequel to NASCAR The Game 2011, NASCAR The Game: Inside Line.
(UPDATE) Eutechnyx and Activision Reportedly Holding NASCAR The Game Cover Vote
This week, It appears that Eutechnyx has taken a page out of the EA Sports promotional playbook.
According to SportsBusiness Journal, Eutechnyx and Activision will be giving NASCAR fans the opportunity to have their say on who will grace the cover of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line. According to the article, It will be a 32-driver bracket (exactly like the EA Sports voting system they use for the Madden NFL cover athlete). The aritcle also says that voting will begin on Wednesday.
Update at 4:04PM EST:
I have received confirmation on the cover vote. NASCAR, Eutechnyx, and Activision will officially announce the “Drive for the Cover” fan vote this thursday at a press conference at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Joe Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano and Blake Davidson (NASCAR’s Vice President of Licensing) will be on hand to announce the “Drive for the Cover” fan vote.
