I wanted to go back and look at the 2007 NFL Draft and see what late rounders are still in the league and have done a great job. So what I did was found players drafted in the 6th and 7th round, that are still on teams and making an impact. Did you know that these players were taken in the later rounds? What player do you think has been the biggest impact player for his team? Make sure you vote after the break.

Nick Folk – K – Dallas Cowboys – Folk is a pro bowl kicker, who came out of Arizona in the former Pac 10. Folk has been very effective in his years with the Cowboys and one of the more consistent kickers in the NFL. Folk was taken in the 6th round with the 178th pick.

Desmond Bishop – LB – Green Bay Packers – The Packers killed the sixth round, with back to back picks on our list; the first on the list is Desmond Bishop, who took the place of former stud LB, Nick Barnett. Bishop came in and was able to fill the position of Barnett. He has been a very good and productive linebacker since coming out of college from California. Bishop was the 192nd pick in the 6th round.

Mason Crosby – K – Green Bay Packers – With the 193rd pick, the Packers drafted Mason "The Sure Thing" Crosby, who has been a stud. Crosby is a very talented kicker, who can just annihilate the ball. I really don’t have to say much more because this kid is a stud kicker.

Ahmad Bradshaw – RB – New York Giants – The lone 7th Rounder in the 2007 draft that has really shown potential is Ahmad Bradshaw. Bradshaw came out of Marshall and has really been a huge piece to the Giants Super Bowl run last season. Bradshaw came in and ran all over teams in the playoffs. He was so good, that the Giants didn’t elect to re-sign their former running back Brandon Jacobs.

Of these four players that are still in the league, which one’s have been the biggest impact player for their respected teams? Make sure you vote at the bottom of the page

He’s a bit of a liability in the run game, but his potential in the pass game was enough for Buffalo Rumblings.
