The list of quarterbacks invited to the Manning Passing Academy each summer usually serves as a watch list for the NFL Draft the following year. Over the past few years, Andrew Luck, Sam Bradford, Jake Locker and many other high draft picks have attended the event as coaches to the high school quarterbacks at the camp.
Matt Barkley and Tyler Bray among quarterbacks invited to Manning quarterback camp
A full list of invitees has not been released for the 2012 camp, but the short list of quarterbacks going shouldn't come as a huge shock. Matt Barkley, Tyler Bray, Logan Thomas and Tyler Wilson, all of whom are considered to be first round prospects, have been invited to the camp, according to Chris Mortenson.
These four quarterbacks are the biggest names to watch for the upcoming college football season. Barkley is currently the odds on favorite to be drafted first overall. Meanwhile, Bray will be looking to put together a full, healthy season under center, and Wilson will have to play this season with a new coach. Thomas is the wild card. A tremendous athlete, many expect him to rise up draft boards.
