Uniforms Of The Future ... Today!

The great Paul Lukas has the details on all the “throwback” uniforms teams will wear this season. And there are plenty of them. The Rangers will don no less than three old get-ups this year, which seems like a lot for a team that’s only been around since 1972.

Isn’t it time for some forward-looking uniforms? I’m not talking about those godawful “Turn Ahead the Clock” monstrosities of the late ‘90s. I’m saying this: Instead of hearkening back, yet again, to some alleged “golden era,” isn’t it time we spoke to the future? To that end, I have several new, forward-looking uniform designs that I’d like to share with you after the jump.

This is an Angels road uniform. Well, in the future there won’t be any roads, on account of all the high-speed rail. Don’t kid yourself, trains are the future.
