Who Was The Biggest Reach Of The Draft?

Over the weekend, we discussed the biggest steal of the draft. We had some pretty good choices for that one, so today I thought we’d take a gander at the other end of the spectrum. Who took the biggest reach on a player?

I know the obvious one is going to be Ryan Tannehill to the Dolphins at eight. So I'll get that one out of the way right now. The other quarterbacks as well, Brock Osweiler and Nick Foles were both taken too highly for my liking. I was surprised that the Rams took Brian Quick with the 33rd overall pick over guys like Alshon Jeffery and Stephen Hill. There were three picks in a row in the third round that confused me. First the Texans took DeVier Posey, then the Bills took TJ Graham. I like both guys, but felt they were more of later round guys. But then right after that, the Jaguars shocked everyone when they drafted punter Bryan Anger. I understand that punters can be tremendously influential in the battle for field position, and even more so for a team like the Jaguars who need every yard they can get. But surely he could have been had a round or two later?

Anyway, before I rattle on and name every choice, I’ll hand it over to you guys in the comments. Let us know who was the biggest reach in the draft and why.
