There isn’t much of a trade market for a backup caliber arm strength with arm strength limitations.
Browns lowering the asking price on Colt McCoy

The Browns have learned that the hard way. Colt McCoy, the team's 2010 third round pick and starting quarterback for the last two seasons, is now being shopped around the league, and the asking price is not very high.
Cleveland will accept minimal compensation for McCoy to spare him from being released, according to multiple reports. At the moment, interest seems to be close to zero. But injuries will create a market for a player like McCoy. He has value as a backup. His starting experience and knowledge of a west coast offense could make him a fit for a team looking for a reliable option on the depth chart.
But what, if anything, should a team give up for McCoy? He was drafted in the third round but doesn’t carry nearly as much value anymore. If anything, the Browns will get a late round pick. If the trade market continues to be this quiet, however, McCoy may end up being a free agent before the season starts.
What do you think? Would you want your team to give up a late round (6 or 7) pick for Colt McCoy to be the backup quarterback? Does this guy have any value left?
