There's never been a knuckleballer to win a Cy Young Award, but if they gave 'em out today RA Dickey of the Mets might become the first.

Dickey made another statement in his case Monday night, tossing a second-consecutive one-hitter as the Mets beat Baltimore 5-0. Dickey threw 114 pitches at the O's, 81 for strikes, walked two, struck out 13 and allowed only a fifth-inning single by Wilson Betemit.
New York won as a -150 favorite Monday, so the Mets are now 12-2 in Dickey's starts this year. The knuckleballer now leads the Majors in wins with 11 and is tied for the lead in ERA at 2.00 and in strikeouts with 103. Sounds like Cy Young Award material to us.
Also Monday the three biggest favorites on the baseball betting board all won. The Yankees and CC Sabathia, off at -210, rallied to beat the Braves 6-2; the Diamondbacks and Wade Miley, at -180, defeated the Mariners 7-1; and the Rangers and Matt Harrison, at -175, nipped the Padres 2-1.
Among some of the more interesting matchups on Tuesday's board Hiroki Kuroda and the Yankees are -145 favorites as they try to extend their winning streak to 11 games vs. Tim Hudson and the Braves; Justin Verlander and the Tigers are -155 faves over Lance Lynn and the Cardinals; David Price and the Rays are -145 road chalk at Washington and Chien-Ming Wang; and CJ Wilson and the Angels are -200 favorites over Barry Zito and the Giants.
