And just a few weeks into his Washington Redskins career, the man they call RG3 is already impressing his teammates as well, according to Les Carpenter.
Griffin III’s arm has been turning heads at Redskins’ camp, and for good reason. The former Baylor Bear has a smooth and effortless throwing motion but manages to put as much velocity on the ball as anyone.
While he has had an up and down mini camp, like any rookie, RG3 is at least creating excitement about Redskins football, something the franchise needed in a big way. He has been the focus of camp and the focus of Washington’s rebuilding effort.
There won’t be a more talked about rookie next fall.
