College World Series 2012: South Carolina Looking For Three-Peat
“It’s kind of hard to explain, because there are so many good baseball teams that we play throughout the year. Very rarely do we think that we’re so much better than the other team,” Gamecocks coach Ray Tanner told The Washington Post.
“Our guys have great perspective. They respect the game. They respect their opponents. And we play in a conference that if you feel like you’re one of the best seven or eight teams, you feel like you’re pretty good.”
South Carolina will be taking on a hot Arizona team on Sunday. The Wildcats clinched their College World Series appearance on Thursday night by winning three in a row in Omaha.
