Current rumors have the Houston Astros taking Stanford University right-hander Mark Appel with the first-overall pick, followed by the Minnesota Twins taking Georgia high school outfielder Byron Buxton with the second choice. After that, no one seems to have a feel for what the Seattle Mariners will do with the third-overall choice.
