Dodgers at the MLB draft, which started yesterday.
Sources tell us ... the heart attack was “mild” and Tommy is expected to be ok -- and the plan is for him to be released tomorrow.Lasorda, who will turn 85 in September, pitched briefly in the major leagues from 1954 through 1956, but is far better known for being manager of the Dodgers from 1977 through 1996. In 21 seasons his teams won 1,599 games, four National League pennants and two World Series titles. Lasorda was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown by the Veterans Committee in 1997.
