Leading up to the Supplemental Draft, we have covered former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon at length. Here’s a recap for those of you checking in at the last minute before the draft starts at 1 p.m.:

- Supplemental Draft schedule, lottery system and how to follow along

All that’s left is the prediction part of the process. We asked you where Gordon would be drafted and the results (at the moment) say the fourth round. Based on the considerable buzz around Gordon (worthy or not), we could see a team gamble a high pick on Gordon. But unlike some reports, it shouldn’t be a second-round pick. In the end, Gordon is a player with above-average to good physical skills. More importantly, he hasn’t played competitively since 2010. In the standard NFL Draft, a player of such attributes wouldn’t get picked in the second round.

Prediction: The Miami Dolphins will use their third-round pick in next year's draft to take Gordon. Miami has the extra third rounder next year from the Chicago Bears and can chance a pick on Gordon. They've added receivers this offseason, but Gordon could grow with rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. I don't think any other player will be taken in the Supplemental Draft.

There’s my pick. Let me know your prediction in the comments. After the jump, find predictions from MTD writers and more.

Here are opinions from members of the MTD staff:

I believe that Josh Gordon of Baylor will be a guy that is a for sure player taken in the Supplemental Draft, but do I believe he is going to go in the first three rounds? No, I don’t believe a player who has sat out for 2 years and not played a down, while having character issues is going to justify a third round pick. Do I believe that he will be selected? Yes, I feel he can go as high as the fourth round, but I am going to say the Cleveland Browns will select him in the 5th Round of the NFL Supplemental Draft. They are a team that could use a big threat and another receiver. He will have to get his off the field antics in order, but will fit well in Cleveland were they have enough past head coaches on their team to keep him in check.

I believe that TCU running back Wesley will be passed on, but my surprise pick is going to be Larry Lumpkin of Carson-Newman. I have the speedy, hard hitting linebacker, getting selected in the 7th round by the Seattle Seahawks, who I believe can use some help at the middle. I feel he will be a good fit for the Seahawks, and I feel that he will be a good fit. Remember just a while ago, Pete Carroll was looking at a middle linebacker product in Brian Banks. I have a feeling that Lumpkin will be a guy that can be and will be used.

Round 5 - WR Josh Gordon
Even with all the hype currently surrounding this promising prospect, I cant see any team giving up a Top 100 pick in 2013 based on his small resume, numbers from his recent Pro day, and a few off field flags. Additionally, while many teams are interested, I am not positive that means many teams think Gordon can play right away (i.e. like Day 1 and Day 2 picks are generally perceived) and wont risk a valuable, high round draft pick on him. His stats/combine numbers seem much closer to Tommy Streeter (2012 6th rounder) than Stephen Hill (2nd rounder).

Round 7 - LB Larry Lumpkin
I was pretty surprised by the number of teams to turn out to a small school prospect's pro day. Perhaps that is just bias on my part since I don't watch much college ball outside of the FBS schools. My bias aside, Lumpkin is well liked by those who do follow the small school athletes and the attention paid to his workouts shows enough interest for a team to take a chance late on him.

Of the six other eligible prospects, each will find a team to offer a camp tryout, but only RB Ed Wesley, DE/LB Montez Robinson, and DB Quaylon Ewing stay on with teams, mostly via the practice squad.

- seton hall and steelers:

I would say my prediction is that Gordon goes in the 4th round to the Browns and nobody else gets drafted. The Browns are in desperate need of a WR and spending a 4th rounder on a guy that talented would be a good use of a 4th round pick.

Here are more predictions from around the Internet:

- Former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah predicts the Cleveland Browns will use a third-round pick on Gordon.

- Adam Caplan of the Sideline View believes the Browns are most interested.

- Rob Rang has Gordon going in the fourth or fifth round. He thinks that Carson Newman linebacker Larry Lumpkin is a “unique talent” who will get drafted with a seventh-round pick.

- Tony Pauline of Sports Illustrated/Draft Insider thinks Gordon will be taken in the second round. He thinks a team will use a seventh-round pick on TCU running back Ed Wesley.
