Will Ray Ray end up in the FCS? What team could use him?

Ray Ray Armstrong, is a very hard hitting safety, but will he end up on a team that has a Defensive mind? Find out what 2 teams, I think would be a good fit for him in the HBCU.

Well as you have all probably heard by now, Ray Ray Armstrong the hard hitting 6’4 safety from the University of MIami has been dismissed from the football team. He will now be able to find another team, but will he choose an FCS school, like Isaiah Crowell formerly of Georgia who just had a recent run in with the law? Will he choose an HBCU school? I believe he will, but check out what teams, I think Ray Ray would be a good fit in, after the jump.

When you look at Ray Ray Armstrong you have to think of a defense that is going to utilize him right. He is a safety, but could play in the box with ease, he has the size and loves to hit people. I think that if you play him in the box on rushing plays he could be a huge asset to the HBCU. Some teams that can use him right now and become better teams are....

Bethune-Cookman of the MEAC, last year they lost Michael Williams and Jean Fanor (Chiefs) as well as the big three linebackers in Ryan Davis (Jaguars), Ryan Lewis and Reggie Sandilands. What could Ray Ray bring to the team? He could be an instant defensive leader, which is could help the corners like CJ Wilson in B-CU. There coach Brian Jenkins has worked in some bigger schools before such as Rutgers, and their D-Line coach is famous for the upbringing of Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson and Jean-Francois in LSU. Coach Lane has also had a huge impact in the play of current Jaguar Ryan Davis. So Bethune could be a great fit for the hard hitting safety, and it would allow him to stay in the state of Florida. Sanford his hometown is only an hour or so from Daytona Beach where Cookman is located.

Prairie View A&M would be a team in the SWAC that I would like to see him land on, they have tons of former NFL players down there working with the defense, and have produced two very good NFL players in the past two years in Quinton Spears (Browns) and Adrian Hamilton (Cowboys). I think that PVAMU would be a good fit if he wants out of the state of Florida, because the fact that they have a former NFL safety in Bubba McDowell coaching the defensive backs. Bubba was a hard hitting safety himself, and could be a very good fit for Ray Ray. He would be far away from home in Texas but that might be good for him. With the Northern brothers running the team in PVAMU Ray Ray could be a huge fit.

These are just two of the teams, I could see making a hard push for Ray Ray, but if I hear anything I will let you know, but he very well could be heading to a FCS school. Stay Tuned....
