The top two picks in the 2012 NFL Draft both signed their first NFL contracts this week, with Robert Griffin III inking his deal on Wednesday and No. 1 overall pick Andrew Luck following suit on Friday.
2012 NFL Draft: Updated list of unsigned first round draft picks

The new rookie wage scale implemented by the collective bargaining agreement has made negotiations run more smoothly and caused a price drop on rookie contracts. As of Saturday, July 21, 10 of the 32 first round picks remain unsigned with training camp around the corner.
After the jump, check out a complete list of the unsigned first rounders.
- Trent Richardson, No. 3 overall, Cleveland Browns, RB
- Matt Kalil, No. 4 overall, Minnesota Vikings, OT
- Justin Blackmon, No. 5 overall, Jacksonville Jaguars, WR
- Morris Claiborne, No. 6 overall, Dallas Cowboys, CB
- Ryan Tannehill, No. 8 overall, Miami Dolphins, QB
- Dontari Poe, No. 11 overall, Kansas City Chiefs, DT
- Kendall Wright, No. 20 overall, Tennessee Titans, WR
- Brandon Weeden, No. 22 overall, Cleveland Browns, QB
- Riley Reiff, No. 23 overall, Detroit Lions, OT
- David DeCastro, No. 24 overall, Pittsburgh Steelers, OG
Luck and Griffin’s deals should help to speed up the negotiations of other top ten draft picks. We should see fewer holdouts than in the past, and it would be surprising to see more than a few of these guys still unsigned heading into camp.
